I was recently requested to remove a sticker from my catalogue with a complaint that my sticker was in violation as it looks identical to another developers product. However, I have rock solid proof that I was given permission from the original developer that created the sticker two years prior to that of the developer laying the complaint.
Sticker one was created by Alston and is no longer listed in the catalogue as he hid all of his products when he stopped using IMVU. This sticker was one of the first products that I purchased here when I signed up over 4 years ago. The sticker in question is the Anti Txt-Tlk sticker PID number 96970. This sticker is on my page just below this write up.
When I had people contacting me as to where they could get the sticker as it was no longer available in the catalogue I wrote to Alston to ask his permission to recreate the sticker as it was on my page. This is the reply I recieved:
At this time I recreated the sticker to nearly identical. I would never have recreated it without the ORIGINAL developers permission. However, it seems someone stole the sticker concept and decided to make a copy when they realized it was no longer in the catalogue instead of requesting permission to recreate it and they are now coming back claiming it as their own original work, which quite obviously is not the case since their PID is 678324, considerably newer than Alstons, by at least 2 years.
I do admit mine is newer than hers in the catalogue by about two months, however, I was not aware she had stolen his sticker idea and claimed it as her own and I do have his blessing to recreate it. I will let you all decide who is in the right to keep their sticker up.
Feel free to message me with your thoughts on this.

Looking for the link to the old 3D scenes? They now call it locked rooms and they hid it away at the very bottom of the Rooms and Furnishings category. Here it is if you want to save some time. Just save it in your bookmarks/favorites folder for future use. Locked Rooms/3D Scenes
